Alarm systems for your home, business, car, even your laptop are offered in the marketplace. Insurance protects us from catastrophic loss. Retirement plans and Social Security allow us to draw an income after we quit working. National defense protects us from dangerous countries, and the local police protects us from dangerous people. We develop ways to protect ourselves from uncertianity and to give us peace of mind. Innate in every human is the desire to be safe.
When a loved one passes on, one of our deepest desires is that their soul would be safe and free from turmoil. "Rest in Peace" is a sincere and heart-felt thought, but what assurance do we have that it could be true?
We believe that God gives us that assurance when we trust Christ as our Lord and Savior.
